Our aim is to create a friendly and welcoming café and restaurant in Walsingham, with a warm atmosphere, and quality food and coffee throughout the day. To create a great place to pop in for a coffee after walking the dog in the countryside, as well as a great place to eat out in the evening with friends. At OBRENNAN'S you can always be sure of a warm welcome. Our log burning fire is always lit, and you are always able to pull up your bike and repair it while we make you a coffee and prepare a snack.

Head Chef and Proprietor: Shaun Brennan

Shaun has been a Head Chef for over 25 years. He trained at La Cote d'Or Restaurant in Kimbolton and the Royal Gate House in Tenby. He spent 18 years as Head Chef and Events Manager at Whittlebury Park Golf and Country Club near Silverstone. In this role he was in charge of catering for weddings and Formula 1 events with guests including Eddie Jordan, David Coulthard, Eddie Irvine and Nigel Mansell.

A fresh start for a long-running café

He opened OBRENNAN'S café and restaurant in Walsingham in October 2022, having purchased the café from its previous owners, and refurbished it himself. Kim, his wife, has also been involved the hospitality industry for a long time-span, running independent coffee shops in and around Dubai and Northamptonshire.

Our restaurant in Walsingham is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, and our café is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8 until 4. Call ahead to book a table at our restaurant, or pop into your local friendly café any time for a bite to eat, and the best coffee in North Norfolk.
